Aims 宗旨

Enable students to 使學生

  • understand phenomena, facts and patterns, principles, concepts, laws, theories and models in physics;
  • acquire knowledge of techniques and skills specific to the study of physics;
  • be aware of the social, economic, environmental and technological implications of the achievements in physics;
  • develop the ability to think scientifically, critically and creatively, and to solve problems individually or collaboratively in physics-related contexts;
  • develop and possess positive values and attitudes such as curiosity, honesty, respect for evidence, perseverance and tolerance of uncertainty through the study of physics;
  • develop appropriate learning habits, abilities and positive attitudes that are essential to the foundation of lifelong and independent learning.

Annual Plan 年度計劃

  • to raise the academic standard of our students by developing their self learning ability, to cater for the diverse learning abilities of our students, to cultivate a professional sharing culture among teachers;
  • to raise the sense of responsibility of our students, to raise the ability of our students in facing adversities, to enable our students to plan ahead for their future;
  • enable students to use information technology to manage and present information, and to develop habits of self-directed learning;
  • enable students to use appropriate terminology to communicate information related to physics in oral, written or other suitable forms
  • enable students to devise and plan experiments, handle apparatus, measure precisely, and interpret observations and experimental data;
  • 提升學生的自學能力致其學業成績有所進步、學生的多樣性學習能力得到照顧、教師專業分享文化逐步形成;
  • 提升學生的責任感、提升學生的抗逆能力、學生能及早規劃未來;
